Description

FKM-HF2600 is copolymer of HFP and VDF. Normally it is white or light yellow translucent elastomer whose fluorine content is over 66%. After vulcanizing process, FKM products have excellent mechanical performance, outstanding anti oil property (fuel oil, synthesis oil, lubricating oil) and high thermal stability.

Application

Widely used in high temerature, aviation, automobile, petroleum and chemical imdustries, oils lubricants, etc. Mainly used to produce gaskets, O-rings, V-rings, sealing bowl with metal bone, diaphragms, tube, valve-plate, rolls, etc.

Storage

1. FKM is packed in PE bags, then packed in carton case, net weight: 20kg per drum.
2. FKM should be stored in chean, dry and cool places. The product is transported according to non-hazardous chemicals. Avoid contamination, sunlight and water.
3. Storage period is one year since production, when exceeding the shelf life, it still can be used as long as it is retested and approved.

Notes

Fluoroelastomer gum has good thermal stability below 260℃; It will minimally decompose when placed in the temperature of 260℃-300℃ for a long time; When hither than 320℃, it will quickly decompose, and poisomous HF and fluorocarbon organic compound are produced; When it meets fire, it also release poisonous HF and fluorocarbon organic .compound.
Attention: FKM shouldn' t be calandered with metal powder (such as AI and Mg) or animine compound more than 10%. If that happpens, emperature will arise and several element will react with FKM, which will damage the equipment and operators.
